CREW Greater Cincinnati, one of the region’s leading professional associations, has selected its next generation of leadership with a new slate of professionals for its 2010 Board of Directors.
Ellen Mayleben, Director of Asset Management with Paul Hemmer Cos. of Fort Mitchell, will be taking over as President for Janet Rullman with WESTECH Environmental Services of Cincinnati. A transition celebration has been scheduled for Nov. 5.
“We look forward to continuing the momentum we seized by landing a highly successful Regional Conference in 2009 into next year,” Ms. Mayleben said, “and strategizing on how to best forward the CREW brand in Greater Cincinnati.”
“This has been a tremendously rewarding year. I’ll look back to my time as President as a major stepping-stone in my career,” Ms. Rullman said. “I’ve enjoyed the professional nature of our organization, but not as much as the people.”
Joining Ms. Mayleben and Ms. Rullman on the Board, and at the event, will be the next President-Elect, Arli Eiseman with CDS Associates/Canarie Partners, as well as Secretary Melissa Lutz with Champlin Architecture, Treasurer Lori Schaeper with Fifth Third Bank and four members of the Board of Directors: Stephanie Hack with Fifth Third Bank, Andy Hemmer with AndyHemmer.com PR/Writing Services, Cindy Taylor with ATC Associates and Andrea Yang with Strauss and Troy.
Schaeper and Lutz are continuing in the same capacity as in 2009. The Directors will be serving two-year terms.
Each board member acts as a liaison to a particular CREW committee, such as Publicity, Sponsorship or Programs; reviews the agenda and supporting information for the monthly board meeting; attends the monthly board meeting, and lends support for items as they arise.
CREW GC holds its monthly luncheons at Maketewah Country Club, just north of the Norwood Laterial (Ohio Route 562) at 5401 Reading Road in Bond Hill. Online registration for the event is available at the CREW GC website, http://www.CREWCincinnati.org.
The group hosted Trent Germano with Carter, developer of The Banks in Cincinnati at its October meeting; the next meeting on Nov. 10 will be highlighted by Arn Bortz, managing partner with Towne Properties of Mount Adams.
