Today’s CREW Greater Cincinnati luncheon features a panel forum on the economic development engine that the historic Vernon Manor hotel in Avondale has become.

Speakers include Maura Moran, Assistant Vice President of Real Estate at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, a former CREW President herself.

Maura joined Cincinnati Children’s in May 2008.  She is a member of the Division of Infrastructure & Operations.

Maura earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, graduating summa cum laude, from the Cook School of Business at Saint Louis University, with majors in Finance and Marketing.

She subsequently earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.  Maura is a Licensed Attorney in the State of Ohio.

Prior to joining Children’s, Maura worked as an Attorney, focusing on real estate,  banking & municipal law at the Cincinnati law firms of Keating, Ritchie & Swick and Statman Harris & Eyrich.

She transitioned into the role of Director of Real Estate for United Dairy Farmers in 2004, where she oversaw the acquisition, disposition, property management and legal issues for the company’s nearly 200 retail locations and properties throughout Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

Her current focus is development and implementation of a strategic real estate Master Plan, and keeping that plan aligned with the organization’s Strategic Plan and initiatives.  She is also responsible for the organization’s leasing, property acquisition and disposition matters.

Maura is a Past President of CREW Greater Cincinnati, and currently serves as the Board Chair for ReSource, which builds capacity for local 501(c)(3) non-profits.

She is a member of the Executive Board of the Cincinnati chapter of JDRF and a member of the Board of Trustees at St. Ursula Academy in East Walnut Hills.

Maura also serves on a variety of committees at the Cincinnati Bar AssociationCincy Magazine named Maura a Non-Profit All Star in November 2010.

Today’s CREW Greater Cincinnati luncheon is open to walk-ins for $50; $30 to CREW members. Networking and registration are from 11:15-11:45 a.m.; luncheon and program run from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.
