The company has a new name and brand, and the game has changed: Cushman and Wakefield|Cincinnati Commercial REALTORS (CW|CCR) – the midtown sales and leasing powerhouse commonly annotated as CCR – has expanded its ownership, brokerage team and operations with three new service lines.

Cushman & Wakefield|Cincinnati Commercial REALTORS is the reincarnation of Cincinnati Commercial REALTORS (CCR), the designated local partner of international industry titan Cushman & Wakefield Inc. (http://www.cushwake.com).

The company made The Cincinnati Business Courier today …. here’s the story:

Cushman & Wakefield is a New York-based real estate services giant with 13,000 employees working out of 230 offices in 60 countries, recognized as the largest, privately-held real estate services firm in the world.

Established as a magnet for veteran, high-producing brokers, C&W|CCR (http://www.C-C-R.com) historically generates volumes of business with only 10 brokers that other companies sell with 20.

Barreling into its 18th year, the company based in the historic Baldwin complex off Interstate 71 is poised to profit from the economic rebound, projecting a 30 percent revenue increase this year by:

Adding three new service lines: Property Management, Facilities Management and Project Management;
Tapping two industry veterans, Doug Altemuehle and Darin Armbruster, as Principal/Broker and Broker, respectively;
Channeling local and regional connections with C&W’s global platform.

Partners Si Pistick and Wayne Hach (seated, L-R) welcome Doug Altemuehle (standing, left) and Darin Armbruster.

“The recession is over, and we are positioning ourselves for the recovery,” said Wayne Hach, President of C&W|CCR.

“Our company strategy is to grow revenues by expanding our client base as well as the services that we can provide to those clients. We are adding focus on both office building agency and tenant services, so that we can expand our clients’ access to the Cushman & Wakefield platform.”

EXPANDING A STRATEGIC ALLIANCE

Si Pitstick, Executive Vice President and Principal said, “We are still the firm that can do more business with less brokers. We are excited to add two major producers and expand our service lines at the same time.

Cushman & Wakefield is a dominant player nationwide in providing project management, facilities management and property management services – they manage over 580 million square feet globally. We are excited for both our clients and brokers that C&W is expanding their services in the Cincinnati marketplace,” said Pitstick.

Altemuehle left the Cincinnati office of Colliers International Inc. after 27 years of service – and $750 million in sales and leasing – for the opportunity to help lead the new service line initiatives, offering something very special in this market.

“Locally, we are fortunate to have a leading pool of talent. Combine that with Cushman & Wakefield’s national reputation – one that is already putting our DNA out there nationwide to clients – and the bigger picture is we are adding highly sought-after main street disciplines and services,” Altemuehle said.

Landing Altemuehle brings to C&W|CCR his extensive experience in the sale and leasing of office properties, including tenant and landlord representation, asset acquisition and dispositions, lease audit and management, investment analysis, opinion of value analyses and multi-market requirements.

With an office listing portfolio totaling more than 1.7 million square feet, Doug has successfully completed more than $750 million in sales and lease transactions during his career.

Some of Altemuehle’s clients include New York Life, Citigroup, CommonWealth REIT, GE Capital Real Estate, J.P. Morgan/CASTO, Ventas, Heinz, Kraft and Grange Insurance.

Altemuehle is a member of SIOR, NAIOP, BOMA, NAR, OAR and the Commercial Real Estate Council of Greater Cincinnati. Doug has been awarded numerous professional honors, including being named to the Commercial Real Estate Council of Greater Cincinnati’s “Top Producer’s Club” award consecutively for the past 19 years (1992-2010) and earning NAIOP’s highest achievement award as Cincinnati’s “Broker of the Year” and “Deal of the Year” awards.

Armbruster develops and maintains tenant representation relationships and landlord/owner relationships. With over eight years of experience, Darin’s current real estate portfolio includes some 13 suburban office parks and in 2009, he closed office lease and sales transactions totaling more than 300,000 square feet, valued at more than $21 million.

Darin earned his Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from The Ohio State University, providing a strong foundation in site planning, construction, development process and related costs.

He is a member of CCIM and has won several awards including the Commercial Real Estate Council of Greater Cincinnati’s Top Producers Club, from 2005-2010, and the “Rising Star Award” in 2009.
