New China Buffet Sushi & Grill opens at Newport Pavilion

Hungry Christmas Day diners looking for a bite out: look no further than Newport Pavilion.

Two exits south of Cincinnati, off of the I-471 Memorial Parkway exit at the foot of Fort Thomas, lies the newest tenant at the Pavilion, New China Buffet Sushi & Grill.

The place was hosting a decent lunch crowd today – dinner served all day.

Merry Christmas – and save me an egg roll.

Rossford Park adding soccer/football field in Fort Thomas, featuring The Police: Walking on the Moon in CakeEaterVille

Posted in CakeEaters on 10/19/2010 by @CincinnatiPR

Rossford Park, Fort Thomas: Under Siege by Tractor.

The hard-working folks at The City of Fort Thomas are getting closer to adding that much-needed soccer/football field at Rossford Park, aka The CakeEater’s Lunar Landscape.

The City and its contractors have completely reshaped the facility, from a cramped, overbooked park with a tiny gazebo, which barely accommodated two baseball fields.

The new version will feature two full baseball diamonds, a much-larger gazebo/shelter area, and a sprawling terrain with a new soccer/football field.

Here’s a view of the new soccer/football field from above, shot earlier this month:

Completion is scheduled for the Fall of 2011:
