The quotes are fantastic:

Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of intelligent effort.” (John Ruskin)

Good design is where science and art break even.” (Robin Mathew)

Well done is better than well said.” (Benjamin Franklin)

Passion is the genesis of genius.” (Anthony Robbins)

In concert with its 20th anniversary celebration, CORE Resources Inc. of Anderson Township, owned by Paul and David Kitzmiller, recently took the wraps off of its new web site.

Need to know more about CORE?

Up top, there’s a Cincinnati Enquirer profile of the company from a few years ago.

Here’s another Cincinnati Enquirer piece, from September 2009, detailing CORE’s work at The Blue Elephant in Oakley:

CORE Resources project, Blue Elephant, in Cincinnati Enquirer - Sept. 2009.

CORE in its own words (www.CORE-1.com):

CORE Resources is a premier builder/developer of retail, office, restaurant, residential and healthcare facilities.  More than that, though, we are a company of values – people whose ideals drive every interaction with our clients, our community and each other.

“These principles are in our DNA, so itʼs second nature that we treat people fairly, with straightforward authenticity and insightful purpose. We have an honest passion for what we do and our clients experience it through the meticulous, dynamic execution of every project.”

The website continues:

“We are engaged partners that leverage our considerable experience to think like owners, to anticipate challenges and adapt accordingly.

“We pursue excellence through constant improvement. It is our motivation to constantly deliver creative and innovative solutions that drive honest relationships and positive results.

“We are a group of people who are very good at what we do. But more than that, we are a company that places the needs, well-being and ultimate success of our clients and their projects above all else.”

Here’s another bit of CORE Resources in the news, a Business Courier story from August 2009 about the work the company did for D1 Sports Training at Summit Woods in Sharonville:

Introducing the newest Green thing to Cincinnati's lilly-white East Side, The Blue Elephant.

CORE constructed a building foundation that’ll keep the woks sizzling, and saving energy, courtesy of a geothermal HVAC system combined with CO2 monitoring, a tight exterior shell and sun shading to afford superior interior comfort over similar facilities.

CORE and the designer, Architects Plus, have filed for LEED certification.

Blue Elephant designer Zoe Hardy with Architects Plus figures maintenance costs will be less than half of a conventional system, with a life expectancy 1.5X longer. Overall energy use is calculated to be 24 percent better than code-mandated baseline performance standards.

The Blue Elephant will open this year, a good puke-and-a-half from that hardiest of East Side watering holes, R.P. McMurphy’s Irish Pub. Here’s to you, Wasson Road.

CORE Resources is owned by East Side bros. Paul and David Kitzmillers, proud graduates of Anderson High School and pillars in their corner of the Queen City. CORE’s project manager is Brandy Del Favero.

She’s working with the new owners, a shy, friendly Chinese couple moving here from San Jose. They’ve got family in town who own/operate the Ban Thai Restaurant in Eastgate.
