[CINCINNATI, OHIO – July 8, 2016] A veteran brand manager in the consumer packaged-goods category from the Fortune 500 world, well-versed in corporate etiquette and the corporate way of life, has booted both in favor of an entrepreneurial path and the journey less-traveled: the re-branding and growth strategy of a revered local brand, Klug Bus Service.

Owner and President Aaron Haid (aka #TheNewLouKlug) of Wyoming has identified the secret sauce that’s gonna make the new Queen City Transportation {QCT} go: skilled, courteous, dedicated bus drivers,

His new venture, barely more than a year old, was up 54 percent last year, and has increased revenues over 100 percent in 2016.

QCT has also made copious strides in new business development and facilities improvement, but still needs a talent infusion of at least 120 professional drivers.

There is a tremendously talented and qualified pool of drivers here in Greater Cincinnati, people who will remember the Klug Bus brand, the safety, care and concern of those drivers, and what that meant both to the Klug family and the Cincinnati community,” said Haid, a West Virginia native who graduated from Marietta College and cut his teeth in the sales and marketing apparatus of Bob Evans Farms, Scotts-Miracle Gro and Chiquita.

The hiring blitz at QCT  {www.queencitytransportation.com} began earlier this spring and precedes the company’s move to a new five-acre complex in Elmwood Place, replacing the longtime Klug Bus headquarters on Ebenezer Road.

A new five-year contract with Cincinnati Public Schools begins for the 2016-2017 school year in August. QCT launched its CPS partnership last school year with 18 daily routes and was recognized for excellent service, which helped pave the way for the new agreement.

QCT will be purchasing 110 brand new school buses at an approximate cost of $7 million. The move to Elmwood Place, and subsequent larger accommodations, will also help facilitate additional future growth.

We couldn’t be more excited about this new contract with the Cincinnati Public Schools. It has been our goal from the inception of the company to provide an increased level of local bus service for the students of the district. We look forward to a strong relationship with Cincinnati Public Schools for years to come,” Haid said.

Job seekers can call QCT at {513} 941-8700 or apply online at www.queencitytransportation.com. A Commercial Driver License {CDL} with a school bus endorsement is required.
